Find in list
The find bar is handy for searching within your results. Show it by clicking the magnifying glass (Find in list) on the left of the list, or by pressing Ctrl+F.
Type the text to find, and choose the column to search in from the drop-down beside it.
- Find (Enter) - Go to the first matching file.
- Find Next (F3) - Go to the next matching file. When there are no more, “Reached end, no more found.” is shown.
- Use as filter (Shift+Enter) - Filter the list to just the matching files. This is often handy combined with Expand filter to show whole group, to see the complete groups the matches are in.
- Remove filter - Remove the find filter. Other filters are not affected.
- Select - Select all the matching files in the list, ready to mark them with Space or the right-click menu.
Find options:
- Is case sensitive - Case sensitive text search.
- Exact match / Contains / Starts with / Ends with / Does not contain - How the text must match the column. Use Exact match when the whole column must match, and Contains to match part of the text.
- Use Regular Expressions - Search with a regular expression.
The same find bar is available on the Duplicate folders tab, where it searches the folder list.
