Settings
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The Settings page contains settings which affect the whole program, rather than a single scan. Open it with Settings in the navigation bar. The tabs down the left are:
- About - the program version.
- General - general settings, caching, display, ‘Open with’ applications and logging.
- Theme - light or dark, and the accent colour.
- File types - the file types Duplicate Cleaner can read.
- Filter presets - named file filters (Pro).
- Ignore list - files and folders to leave out of scans (Pro).
Settings are applied straight away when changed. They are saved when you leave the Settings page, and when the program closes.
Settings for an individual scan - its criteria, filters and folders - are kept with the scan itself. See Setting up a scan.
