Media player
The Media player lets you quickly listen to audio files and watch video files from within Duplicate Cleaner, so you can check duplicates before removing them.
Open it with the Media player button on the left of the Duplicate files tab. If Use internal viewers on double click is ticked in General settings, double-clicking an audio or video file also opens it here.
The player shows the file’s name and some of its metadata, its size, dimensions and format, and the current position and total length.
Controls
Section titled “Controls”- Back to start - Go back to the beginning of the file.
- Play - Start playing.
- Pause - Pause playing.
- Stop - Stop playing.
- Mute - Turn the sound off and on.
Drag the position bar to move through the file.
Options
Section titled “Options”- Load on file select - Load each file into the player as soon as you select it in the Duplicate files list. This makes it quick to step through a group and compare the files.
- Preserve playback position if same group - When you move to another file in the same group, carry on from the same point - handy for comparing the same part of several copies. Pausing is kept too.
